Thanks for sharing information. I will check NG Napoleon brand. I had installed Barbeques Galore Turbo Elite in an kitchen island open to outdoors. The stainless steel was fine, however the ignitor quit working and the plates holding ceramic briquettes rusted.I have had a NG Napoleon built-in for about 20 years in a harsh upper midwest climate, uncovered. It works and looks pretty much brand new. It was/is one of their higher series models and I find it hard to believe spending anymore on a "better" brand would have gained me anything. I also have a ceramic kamado that while very nice, seldom gets used as the gas is so simple.
Grilling is my weakness. I have found two things to be game changers for me. One, a temperature controller for the kamado that keeps the temperature within a degree or two for 12+ hours without any babysitting at all. Two, Grillgrates brand replacement grates that can be flipped to function as a "flattop" or as better version of standard grates. I thought they were gimmicks until I took the plunge to try them. The ability to have a flat surface has been a complete game changer in so many ways.
